Helping Hands Bracelet

Proceeds from the sale of these bracelets go directly to the Bolivian Helping Hands Bracelets Project.

The Helping Hands Project is designed to provide educational opportunities for marginalised Bolivian youth and other deserving young people of very limited economic resources.

The Project helps keep these young people in school until they finish high school and also provides the opportunity to continue in a post secondary programme of education in Bolivian technical institutes and universities.

The Bracelets Project helps the students of Helping Hands in Bolivia to finance their own personal expenses. The students make beautiful hand-made macrame bracelets which are then sold abroad.

The earnings go to the bracelet makers for their personal expenses and to supplement the Opportunity Fund which supports students until sponsors can be found for them. This Fund also finances required educational trips and special educational materials.

The Bracelets Project also includes young mothers so they can work at home and care for their children while earning money to pay for their child's upkeep.
