The 2013 VolksWorld Show is now less than two weeks away. We've already started to prepare, with nearly a thousand different products labeled with prices and packed up ready to take.

We're in the same spot as we've been the last two years, Stand 7 in Surrey Hall. We're taking a large variety of products, from the smallest washers to larger items like our top quality window seals. If there's something you'd like us to bring, drop us a line and we'll do our best.

People often comment on the artwork we use in adverts, our catalogue cover and our Deimos Space Girl which adorns our stickers. Let's tell you the story behind the artwork!

When we decided on a name for the company we wanted something different and started looking at astronomical objects as one of the lines of possibilities. We decided on Deimos, one the two moons of Mars.

When it came to our logo we wanted something with simple and classic lines and decided on the simple green on white Deimos Air Cooled logo. Our moto has been always to have a very user friendly website with clear descriptions and pictures that show in detail exactly what you are buying. The plain logo reflects that. We also decided to have some artwork which would be different and would be used in adverts, but which also reflected the personality of the company. Being fans of David Vicente's work we approached him to see if he would consider designing some artwork for us.

Deimos Air Cooled were proud to trade at Grill-n-Chill, held at Exted Autorama, near Canterbury on 17 / 18 September 2011, as well as sponsoring the show in its first year. Despite a showery Saturday, lots of keen campers arrived in air and water-cooled VWs, as well as some other very cool customs; some had travelled from France and Germany! A real family-friendly show, Grill-n-Chill had something for everyone; a range of traders to visit and stands to look around, including the Outlaw Flat Four stand, sticker stall, autojumble and a choice of food and drink including Crazy Udder, and for the brave, a van selling fiery chilli dogs. Grill-n-Chill branded cupcakes went down a storm on both the Saturday and the Sunday.

We've updated our payment system to use Sage Pay. This means be a simpler check out process when paying by debit or credit card, and of course, PayPal is still accepted.
