Grill-n-Chill 2011

Deimos Air Cooled were proud to trade at Grill-n-Chill, held at Exted Autorama, near Canterbury on 17 / 18 September 2011, as well as sponsoring the show in its first year. Despite a showery Saturday, lots of keen campers arrived in air and water-cooled VWs, as well as some other very cool customs; some had travelled from France and Germany! A real family-friendly show, Grill-n-Chill had something for everyone; a range of traders to visit and stands to look around, including the Outlaw Flat Four stand, sticker stall, autojumble and a choice of food and drink including Crazy Udder, and for the brave, a van selling fiery chilli dogs. Grill-n-Chill branded cupcakes went down a storm on both the Saturday and the Sunday.

Exploded Parts Diagrams

We've added the first exploded parts diagram to our site, to the crankshaft section. We'll be adding more throughout the site as quickly as they can be drawn.

Payments Now Being Processed Though Sage Pay

We've updated our payment system to use Sage Pay. This means be a simpler check out process when paying by debit or credit card, and of course, PayPal is still accepted.

The check out process is secure. All the processing is taken care of by Sage Pay - card details are never seen by our servers.

VolksWorld 2011

Deimos Air Cooled is proud to sponsor Grill-n-Chill, a new chilled and laid-back show to be held at Exted Farm, near Canterbury, Kent over the weekend of 17th-18th September 2011.

Our Samba in Paint

This weekend we went to see the progress on the Deimos Air Cooled Samba and to see the final result of the paint scheme we had chosen. We had been through a lot of paint scheme ideas over the years but after launching Deimos Air Cooled we had to go with green! We decided on Velvet Green to match as closely as possible with our logo's green and also to stay with a VW colour.

The result is brilliant and we are now very excited by the prospect of having the bus on the road soon! Watch this space!

London Volksfest

Deimos Air Cooled had a great day trading at London Volksfest. The show was a good mix of show and shine and drag racing, with some quick times on the track and some really nice cars in attendance. The weather stayed dry for a good turn-out. The show allowed us to have some good chats with enthusiasts and it was great to hear the feedback on our growing range of air-cooled VW parts.
